Who is Jesus?
Jesus made the claim to be the Son of God. Whatever you believe about Jesus, you have to admit this one thing: He changed things. We believe if you meet Him, your life will change too.
In John 14:6, Jesus said this, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” If Jesus was telling the truth, then He is the only way to God. So how do you get to God?
Becoming a Christian
If you are not yet a Jesus follower (most often called a “Christian”), your first step of faith will undoubtedly be to become a Christian. You don’t have to speculate how this is accomplished. The Bible, God’s Word, shares specific directions on the journey of becoming a disciple (follower) of Jesus. This pathway consists of smaller steps of faith, trust, and obedience leading you to give your life to Christ.
Becoming a Christian is a huge and exciting step. Just like most other big steps of faith, you don’t have to take this step in one giant leap. Becoming a Christian is a process. The time it takes you to become a Christian will vary. You may be able to journey through the steps quickly. You may have to stop along the way. It’s not the same time-table for everyone. But know this: when it happens, it will be your story!
