Make Disciples

It's a big job and we need your help!

Why discipleship?

Making disciples is a big step in your journey with Jesus. In fact, it is one you will continue to take each day until Jesus returns. The mission of the church (that includes you by the way) is to make disciples of everyone on planet earth. It’s a big job, and we need your help.

We’re excited to have you join us. Your mentors are rooting for you. We’re here for you. Let’s make a difference.

What is discipleship?

Discipleship is a word many churches throw around like everyone knows what they mean. The sad reality is many churches have never actually taken the time to define the word themselves. As a result, the definition of discipleship is confusing even among church leaders. Because of this, it becomes difficult to truly disciple the people of the church because each one who attempts to do so has a different end goal in mind.

When we say discipleship, here is what we mean: “Discipleship is an intentional relationship through which one Christian helps another Christian take their next step of faith.”

How can you help?

Discipleship was never meant to be done by a select few. Your mentors have been working with you and helping you take your next step, and along the way, they’ve shown you how to do the same for others.

Pray and talk with your mentors about someone with whom you can share what you’ve learned. They won’t abandon you, because we’re in this together.

If you’re still not sure, or if you haven’t had a mentor, you can get one today. Allow them to pour into you so you can do the same for others.

Don’t forget: We love you. We’re praying for you. And we’re in this together.

What's your next step?
